When we receive your instructions, Relocate Direct
shall work with you to find a suitable property to purchase or rent,
as detailed in your completed requirement form, or as subsequently discussed
with us.
Cancellation/Termination
The agreement will last for a period of four months, and may continue
after this period until terminated by either party giving one month’s
notice by either letter, or email instruction, to the other.
If the agreement continues beyond the initial period of four months,
Relocate Direct reserves the right to charge a further fee. However,
if we do so, the fee payable on Conclusion of Missives (Exchange of
Contracts), or the signing of a Rental Agreement, shall be reduced by
the additional sum charged.
Payments
Due to the considerable time which shall be invested by Relocate Direct
on your behalf, there is an initial fee of £400 payable at the
time of confirmation of your instructions for the purchase of property
and £300 for rental.
Relocate Directs’ final fee is 1% of the purchase price of the
property we have introduced to you, and is payable on the settlement
date of the property, or 75% of one months’ rent of any property
on which a tenancy is taken out.
Relocate Directs’ final fee shall be payable at the time of settlement
of the purchase price of the property introduced to the client, or at
the commencement of a tenancy.
For the purposes of this Agreement, we shall be deemed to have introduced
a property to you, if you receive details directly, or indirectly from
Relocate Direct, or from any of the Estate Agents, Solicitors, Agents,
or other sources with whom Relocate Direct are regularly in contact.
Indemnity and Warranty
Relocate Direct also gives due notice, that if any individuals, relatives,
companies, partnerships or trusts, with which the contracted applicant
is directly involved, should subsequently buy, or let any property,
within one year from the date of the agreement, and on which Relocate
Direct has provided particulars, either directly or indirectly, then
the original applicant shall be liable for settlement of all fees relative
to that property.
Limitation of Liability
Any information regarding recommended properties, including visuals,
reports, and other information, are given in good faith by Relocate
Direct, are for guidance only, and should not be construed as forming
any part of a contract, which may relate to the purchase, or letting
of any property. Relocate Direct also recommends that all purchasers,
and prospective tenants, should satisfy themselves, as to the accuracy
of any details provided to them by us. Relocate Direct do not accept
any liability for the views, or the content of any report provided by
a third party, in connection with any property.
Disclaimer/Recommendation
All clients of Relocate Direct are strongly advised to obtain the services
of a solicitor for advice, and legal representation in their house purchase,
and to secure the services of a chartered surveyor, for the production
of a full surveyors report, and valuation of the property under consideration.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions of use shall be governed by the laws of
Scotland and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish
Courts.
